Allotments

Allotment waiting times →

Due to an increased demand for allotment plots in recent months, the average waiting times for an allotment plot in the borough are longer than before.

The allotments team is currently dealing with a large backlog of enquiries as staff return to their normal duties following the COVID-19 lockdown. Please bear with us as it may take us longer than usual to respond to your enquiry.

To keep a plot in a good condition we expect plot holders to spend at least

  • 6 hours working on their plot per week during the growing months
  • 4 hours per week during winter.

The plots come in varying sizes ranging from 100m2 - 300m2.
