    If you see the sign then don’t come knocking. That’s the message to all cold callers, doorstep sellers and pushy pedlars from residents in one area of Golborne that has just become Wigan’s first official No Cold Calling Zone (NCCZ).

  • Industrial action by library staff (30/03/2007)

    There will be some disruption to services at Wigan Borough’s libraries on Tuesday 3rd April due to industrial action by library staff who are members of the trade union Unison. Most libraries will close on Tuesday 3rd April and some services may also be limited on Monday 2nd April. Library customers can contact 01942 827627 to find out what services are available.
