Not going abroad this year?
Well don’t worry because you can let the continent come to you!
The ever popular continental market will be returning to Wigan Town Centre between Wednesday 30 July and Saturday 2 August.
Market Place and Standishgate will be alive with aromas, produce and music of continental Europe, transporting you to the heart of the continent without having to set foot on a plane.
Cllr David Molyneux, Cabinet Champion for Regeneration and the Environment and Deputy Leader of Wigan Council says:
“The Continental markets we have held in the past have been hugely successful and have attracted people from miles around. They give people the chance to experience different cultures and try new produce, whilst enjoying the atmosphere and the rest of what is on offer in Wigan Town Centre.
“Events like these prove that Wigan is transforming into a cosmopolitan, progressive town and is now one of the top 100 retail destinations in the country.”
