Pemberton prepares for fun in the sun

Monday 28th July 2008 (ref: 234/08)

Pemberton’s annual fun day comes to town on Friday 8 August.

And organisers are crossing their fingers that the popular event will be blessed with plenty of warm sunshine.

The festivities begin at 10 am at Church Street Car Park, next to St John’s Church, and will last until 2pm.

There will be lots to see and do including free hanging baskets, Play’In Out Team, free face painting, a fairground organ, a bouncy castle, an army climbing wall, Punch and Judy, and an ice cream van.

Town centre manager Emma Gaster said:

“The event has been organised by Pemberton Business Partnership and promises to be good fun for all ages. All are welcome!”
