Garrett Hall Primary School in Tyldesley will be unable to open on Tuesday 4th September as planned.
There has been a major rebuilding project of the corridors at school during the summer holidays to comply with accessibility regulations. Due to bad weather in the early stages of the project, there has been a delay in completing the work and the school will not be open now until Monday 10th September 2007.
The governors of the school would like to express their apologies to all parents for the inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of the pupils and staff are their main concern. Any parent who wants more information can contact Mrs Jayne Bennett, School Business Manager, on 01942 883340.
