26 Performance monitoring review of Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust (April 2007 – March 2008): The Panel considered a report, that summarised the performance of Wigan Leisure Culture Trust against agreed criteria for the period April 2007 to March 2008.

27 Tripartite Partnership agreement with Arts Council England 2008/11: The Panel considered a report, which would be considered by Cabinet that informed Members of the partnership agreement between the Arts Council for England North West, Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust and Wigan Council. The agreement was based on the national framework for partnerships for Arts Council England and local authorities.

28 What makes Wigan work – Worklessness strategy: The Panel considered a report, that informed Members of the progress that had been made in developing the worklessness strategy for Wigan. The strategy aimed to define the overall approach to reducing the levels of worklessness in the Borough, by assisting working age benefit claimants to secure sustainable employment.

29 Ashton and Leigh town centre feasibility studies: The Panel considered a report, which informed Members of the progress on the proposed feasibility studies and development of master plans for Ashton and Leigh town centres.
